Introducing Coral Springs Chiropractor Dr. Andrew Wasserman

Dr. Andrew Wasserman, Chiropractic Physician

"After suffering 6 agonizing months with headaches as an active 12-year-old boy, my mother finally brought me to my uncle, a prominent pediatrician, who stated that all the tests performed were negative.  I then traveled to my cousin, an ophthalmologist, who told me that I had perfect vision.  After seeking conventional medicine, to no avail, my mother brought me to her chiropractor. He performed a thorough examination and had me take neck x-rays to discover the problem was in my neck.  After just 3 weeks of adjustments, my headaches that had plagued me for so long, were over and I continued to receive chiropractic care from that day on.”

“My goal in life was always to help other people through a professional health care field.  The moment I sat down at my first chiropractic interview, I was hooked.  The young doctor explained to me the real philosophy behind chiropractic.  It is not just to treat pain but also to help people achieve maximum health and well being.  I knew that this would be my career path.  I could help other people, who were sick or in pain, through natural means. Chiropractic was the profession for me!  I have never looked back and I have never regretted for one second that I made this decision.”

“Our sole focus when a patient walks in the door is how we help them achieve relief from their condition and help them stay that way for the rest of their lives.  We are committed to discovering the cause of the problem and addressing the issues in an expedient fashion.  At times, we may have to refer a patient to another health care provider or work with their primary care doctor.  We understand that a patient may come in with a certain expectation of treatment and our goal is to educate them so that they can make an informed decision.”

After graduation from the University of Maryland with a B.S., Dr. Wasserman attended New York Chiropractic College and graduated in 1982. He is certified in Sports Injuries and Physical Fitness by the American Chiropractic Association.  He has also received training in rehabilitation of the spine and extremities and is certified in the Graston Technique.

Dr. Andrew Asks some important questions of interest to Coral Springs residents - Chiropractor Coral Springs Dr. Andrew Asks...

How could chiropractic help a stomach problem?
Chiropractic works by locating and reducing areas of the spine compromising nerve communications between your brain and your body. If nerves to or from your stomach are irritated, your stomach won't work right. Chiropractors find the source of the interference, reduce it and allow your body to work as designed.
How long does it take to form a bone spur?
Many who begin chiropractic care think their problem happened "last week when you bent over funny." But pictures of the spine tell a different story. Chiropractors know it can take your body years to deposit the calcium necessary to form a bone spur. It's your body's response to stress due to gravity or joint malfunction. And chiropractic care can help.
