Introducing Coral Springs Chiropractor Dr. Andrew Wasserman

Dr. Andrew Wasserman, Chiropractic Physician

"After suffering 6 agonizing months with headaches as an active 12-year-old boy, my mother finally brought me to my uncle, a prominent pediatrician, who stated that all the tests performed were negative.  I then traveled to my cousin, an ophthalmologist, who told me that I had perfect vision.  After seeking conventional medicine, to no avail, my mother brought me to her chiropractor. He performed a thorough examination and had me take neck x-rays to discover the problem was in my neck.  After just 3 weeks of adjustments, my headaches that had plagued me for so long, were over and I continued to receive chiropractic care from that day on.”

“My goal in life was always to help other people through a professional health care field.  The moment I sat down at my first chiropractic interview, I was hooked.  The young doctor explained to me the real philosophy behind chiropractic.  It is not just to treat pain but also to help people achieve maximum health and well being.  I knew that this would be my career path.  I could help other people, who were sick or in pain, through natural means. Chiropractic was the profession for me!  I have never looked back and I have never regretted for one second that I made this decision.”

“Our sole focus when a patient walks in the door is how we help them achieve relief from their condition and help them stay that way for the rest of their lives.  We are committed to discovering the cause of the problem and addressing the issues in an expedient fashion.  At times, we may have to refer a patient to another health care provider or work with their primary care doctor.  We understand that a patient may come in with a certain expectation of treatment and our goal is to educate them so that they can make an informed decision.”

After graduation from the University of Maryland with a B.S., Dr. Wasserman attended New York Chiropractic College and graduated in 1982. He is certified in Sports Injuries and Physical Fitness by the American Chiropractic Association.  He has also received training in rehabilitation of the spine and extremities and is certified in the Graston Technique.

Dr Wasserman has been married to his wife Michele for 21 years . They have two beautiful children, Alex who attends the University of Delaware and Alisa who is a student at Marjorie Stoneman Douglas High School in Coral Springs.  He has lived in Coral Springs since 1987 and has been an active member in the community as  president of the Business Associates of West Broward, a Coral Springs Chamber of Commerce member since 1984, and a  former member of the Planning and Zoning Board for the City of Coral Springs.  He is an avid golfer and volunteers for the Florida Golf Association as the course-rating captain for Broward County.

Dr Wasserman believes that health can only be achieved by a maintaining a consistent program of proper nutrition and exercise along with a positive mental attitude and regular chiropractic adjustments to keep your nervous system free of interference.  He frequently works out at his gym located in his office and encourages the entire staff to do so. How do chiropractors help ADHD?
There is agreement that ADHD is a nervous system disorder. And while chiropractic isn't a treatment for ADHD, if your child has subluxations, resolving them will often produce profound results. Click here to learn why more and more Coral Springs parents are choosing natural chiropractic care rather than dangerous psychotropic drugs.
Are aches and pains good or bad?
While aches or pains may be unpleasant, they're merely warning signs. As a Coral Springs chiropractor, I see this all the time. The pain is not the problem! It just means a limitation has been reached and something needs to change. That's when we get to work correcting the underlying cause.
